Steward and nourish your body consistently and sustainably the way God designed without restrictive diets!

When we look at Mary, we see that God designed women with a unique capacity to receive, nurture, and respond in love. This design is not only spiritual—it is embodied. And because of this, the enemy works tirelessly to disconnect women from their bodies, keeping them trapped in cycles of shame, control, and distrust.

Intuitive eating is a way of reclaiming what was always meant to be integrated: body, soul, and spirit. When a woman learns to listen to her body rather than dominate it, she begins to heal the rupture caused by fear and shame. Instead of fighting her hunger, cravings, or needs, she learns to receive them as meaningful signals—created by God and worthy of attention.

As women come into agreement with the dignity of their bodies, they are freed from food obsession and self-punishment. This freedom makes space for the feminine genius to flourish...not just in motherhood, but in every vocation rooted in love, presence, and self-gift.

Intuitive eating is not about indulgence or loss of discipline. It is about trust. It is about stewarding the body God gave you with wisdom, compassion, and reverence, so you are free to bring your gifts fully into the world.

Three out of four women struggle with some form of disordered eating—often without realizing it.

Many feel trapped in cycles of yo-yo dieting, emotional or binge eating, uncontrollable cravings, and constant confusion around food. Instead of peace, food becomes a source of stress and shame. But God has already given you everything you need to care for the body He entrusted to you.

In this in-person workshop, you’ll learn how to actively listen to your body, accurately interpret its signals, and respond with wisdom and compassion—rather than control or restriction.

You’ll be introduced to the skills of faith-based Intuitive Eating, learning how to work with your body instead of against it. The goal isn’t perfection, but freedom—where healthy choices become natural, sustainable habits, and nourishment aligns with the body God lovingly created.

Come ready to unlearn diet culture, rebuild trust with your body, and rediscover a peaceful, grace-filled relationship with food.

You Will Learn

  • How our current culture has made health an idol, and why it is insidiously destroying our spiritual, mental, and physical health

  • What’s been stopping you, slowing you down, or keeping you from feeling at peace with food and health

  • The ROOT CAUSE of your binge eating, emotional overeating, overwhelming cravings, and body shame

  • How to break free from diet culture so you can shed the shame, anxiety, and fear around your health and body

  • How to build an intuitive eating practice that aligns with how God designed your body

  • How to create an amazing, peace-filled relationship with food, body, and spirit

  • Which lifestyle habits are keeping you stuck...and what to do about it

  • How to understand your body's underlying messages in order to nourish your body consistently and sustainably

  • How to make healthy a habit, where you feel more energized and free

This isn’t a surface-level fix. You are here because you know you should be nourishing your body—but that doesn’t mean you follow through in a sustainable way. You want to steward your body, yet your actions don’t align with your desires. We need to dig deep! You don’t just need more information—you need to understand how God created your body to be nourished! HINT: It isn’t a one-size-fits-all equation found on social media, in the newest “health” trend, or in the latest diet book.

Four Core Pillars

  • What is Faith-Based Intuitive Eating?

Discover this Christ-centered approach to nourishment that integrates body, mind, and spirit. Instead of relying on restrictive diets or willpower, we explore how God designed your body with built-in wisdom to nourish it. Learn the principles of Faith-Based Intuitive Eating and how to apply them in your life to consistently nourish your body the way God designed (without worldly diets).

  • Health Myths and Idolization

Unpack common health myths that create anxiety, confusion, and unrealistic expectations—and how they can subtly lead us into idolizing the pursuit of “perfect” health. Together, we’ll explore how cultural pressures, diet rules, and body ideals can distract us from true wholeness and shift our focus away from God.

  • Honoring Hunger and Fullness

Explore hunger and fullness as God-designed signals—not inconveniences to suppress or battles to fight. Instead of relying on diets or rigid rules, we’ll learn how to listen to the body with wisdom and grace. Together, we’ll reflect on how honoring these cues cultivates trust in the body God created, breaks cycles of guilt and overeating, and restores a peaceful, Spirit-led relationship with food.

  • Cravings and Emotional Eating 101

Did you know cravings serve a purpose? ALL cravings are MESSENGERS! Suppressing and ignoring your cravings only makes them stronger. When you learn to understand what your cravings are communicating, you will find TRUE temperance (even while struggling with emotional eating)!

Optional Add-Ons

  • Cycle Syncing

Explore the God-designed rhythms of a woman’s menstrual cycle and how understanding these patterns can support physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. We’ll discuss how to nourish, move, rest, and plan in harmony with each phase of your cycle, and why most diets work against female hormones. This session invites you to honor the unique design of your female body and steward its monthly rhythms with grace, compassion, and confidence.

  • The Three S's: Sleep, Stress, and Schedule

Health isn't just what you eat. Too often, we neglect the impact our sleep, stress load, and schedule have on overall well-being. Learn practical, grace-filled strategies to improve your sleep, manage stress in healthy ways, and create a sustainable schedule that supports—not drains—your life, career, and vocation. This session invites you to align your daily rhythms with God’s wisdom so you can flourish with clarity, energy, and purpose.

  • Intro to Overcoming Body Shame

This session is an introduction to Imago Dei. The reality is, you cannot shame your way to health. You cannot heal something you despise. You cannot steward something you do not love. If you want to nourish your body, you must understand the gift of your body! Together, we’ll explore where body shame began, how it distorts the way we see our worth and dignity, and how the enemy uses it to keep women discouraged and disconnected from their bodies.

  • Intro to Overcoming Self-Sabotage

This session is an introduction to Kirsten's devotional, From Knowing to Growing: An 8-Week Guide to Overcoming the Spiritual and Psychological Warfare of Self-Sabotage. Information is not enough to create lasting change. This session introduces the spiritual and psychological roots of self-sabotage—those moments when you know what’s good, healthy, and life-giving, yet still find yourself pulled back into old patterns. You will learn how fear, shame, and distorted beliefs quietly undermine growth and how the enemy uses these patterns to keep you stuck.

If I Were the Devil

By Kirsten Schmidt

If I were the devil, I’d go after the new mother, whose daughter was just born.
I’d whisper “look at your body, so ugly and worn.”

You see if I were the devil, I wouldn’t tell her to sin.
No, I would be much more subtle,
And make her ashamed of her own skin.

I’d fill her head with thoughts of comparison.
You don’t look like her, or like her,
You are not worthy, unless you are thin.

So every time you walk by a mirror,
You critique and judge, filled of shame and fear.

You stop eating sugar, bread, and even fruit,
Because remember, it has carbs too.

Workout in the gym every day and don’t go soft,Remember: no days off.

Your love for baking becomes hate,
Because the delicious food is practically bait.

You used to love that donut shop by your home,
but now it’s too tempting, especially when you’re alone.

You used to listen to your friends talk,
But now you can’t hear them over your intrusive cravings and thoughts.

You calculate calories like you think you should.
Your husband wants a pizza date night,
but you say no, I’m trying to be "good."

You can’t stop thinking about the bread at dinner,You think, “maybe I can eat bread again, once I’m thinner.”

But the cravings consume you and you say “okay one piece.”
I’ll workout tomorrow, hopefully my cravings will cease.

But once you start, you feel consumed.
You might as well keep going, your diet is ruined.

And so your diet becomes an idol, the scale your god,
Waiting for your body to become something you can applaud.

Yes, as the devil I would smile,
As you become anxious, distracted, fearful and lost,
As you try to grasp for worth at all cost.

You see when the devil makes a mother forget her own worth,
He knows he has a shot, at the one who was just birthed,

Because the daughter will learn where her value lies,
From the mother who forgot, she is also a daughter of Christ.
